Hi Guys first post here goes.

I am trying to find some definitive information as to what is best....

Draw weight, length, ammo size, material etc.

I have a catty with dual TB gold bands (it seems to do OK) but I have seen them with up to 5 bands per side - is there a step increase in performance with more bands or was this likely to have been bravado? I used to shoot traditional longbow, so I'm no stranger to heavy draws.

I have also seen some vids of shooting "butterfly" style - is there any benefit to shooting weaker but longer bands and obtaining higher overall speeds?

I can't necessarily afford to do loads of testing, so I'm looking for some pointers towards the right direction.

I guess its a bit of a newbie question so my apologies.

Cheers

Oh Wow!

Have you ever bitten off more than you can chew?

Thank you for posting such a thorough reply Crac - it will take me some time to absorb that much information, but I'm going to try.

I may be back.........

Cheers
